About The Author
William E Oakley resides in Wilmington, North Carolina and has written three books to date concerning the genealogy of Duncan King, Lydia Fosque, Alexander King, James King Solomon King, Moses King, Mary R. King Rothwell, and Elizabeth King Campbell.
In his research about their genealogy, he has found a great deal of information about their involvement with British soldier's US land grants, 1740-1770 British privateers, 1740-1770's Pirate treasures, General James Wolfe's death painting the Battle of Quebec 1759, the Southeastern North Carolina Methodist Church, the Shiloh Methodist Church in Bolton, NC and British sympathizers During US Revolutionary War which is included.
